A special division of the inheritance collection at the Maastricht University Library is the personal collection of the Maastricht poet Pierre Kemp (1886-1967), loaned to the library in 1994 by the Pierre Kemp Foundation.
The collection includes fairytales, myths, legends, art history, music, children’s toys, poetry collections and anthologies. Many of his books also have museological value because of the margin notes and because the poet himself ordered that they be covered in specially coloured flypaper. In the library catalogue, you can select to browse the Kemp collection separately via LibSearch.
